The best way to Celebrate this New Year is to dress up in crystals, glam and shine! - says the jeweled crocodile at the Bergdorf Goodman's window displays at 58th st. and 5th ave. This year’s theme is Wish You Were Here. Hide and Seek, The mirrored Tree Hotel

Architects Tham & Videgard built a mirrored box in a "Treehotel" which recently opened 40 miles south of the Arctic Circle in Sweden. The "Mirrorcube" unit is designed to reflect its surroundings, but the glass has an infrared film, invisible to humans will prevent birds from flying into it. Françoise Hardy, a muse and her Honda.

Françoise Hardy on a Honda, 1969. French singer who perfectly embodied the sultry, melancholy and reserved femme fatale. She influenced the fashion of her time, inspiring Balenciaga RTW Collection in 2005. Visit

One of the many men she managed to escape from was Bob Dylan, who in an infatuated poem to Hardy wrote about his fantasy of her:
