The high-end Italian food concept market just opened in NY. Eataly, created by Oscar Farinetti and originally from Torino. The NY store is importing the yeast from Italy and buying from local farmers to preserve quality and flavor. Distributed as separate departments, a butcher, a fishmonger, fresh pasta, artisan cheese, cured meats, and hand-made mozzarella. Inside are also restaurants, the Pizzeria Rossopomodoro run by two chefs direct from Naples, Il Manzo, an Italian steakhouse and soon a 300-seat rooftop beer garden...
