Matte Black Urban Hybrid Bike by Peter Dudas

The concept is designed by Peter Dudas based is Padova, Italy. The minimalist bike is primarily made of carbon and nivachrom allowing maximum weight reduction, durability and flexibility. Transmission chain and hub disappear and hidden in the frame there is a system of gear wheels and break cables. Saddle and handlebar are in aluminum coated carbon. It's hard to imagine how the wheels won't bend over time... but more urban and cool could not ever be.Visit his portfolio at behance.net

Finding room where there is no more, Pitman Tozer

With only a 8 feet wide façade, the Gap House stands proud in West London, Bayswater. Designed by the small British architectural firm Pitman Tozer Architects, the 4 level building is also environmentally friendly. It has Passive solar design, a highly insulated building envelope, a ground coupled heat pump and a rainwater harvesting system, meeting the level 4 of the Code of Sustainable Homes. The Gap House won the RIBA Manser Medal in 2009 and was finalist of the Grand Designs Best Eco House in 2008. Visit the architect's website at pitmantozer.com

The children's quarters is in the three-storey structure at street level. The narrow hall opens out onto a kitchen diner, which leads on to a double-height sitting area that wraps around the courtyard garden, with views across and back up to the stepped rear façade. The study area and the master bed are on the first floor.
